The storyline is simple, the action, high-adrenalin. Break Out is essentially the story of a posse of desperate prisoners whose nightmare existence changes beyond belief when an ancient and sacred text mysteriously drops into their prison. This mysterious book inspires the inmates to plan a daring escape into the world outside. It is a magical book that contains stories of the alleged hip-hop evolution of mankind! Starting with the book's cover- Leonardo Da Vinci's Vetruvian Man doing a one-hand stand - whoever comes in contact with this book, receives some strange power to beat box, do a head-spin or boogie like there is no tomorrow! Hip and hilarious, viewing the show is like jumping into a fun comic book, bursting with activity.
Break Out showcases Korea's top B-boys from international winning crews with a wealth of dance awards to their credit. Premiering at Peacock Theatre in the West End, this award-winning production has won rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; has had a three month, critically acclaimed run off Broadway and has enthralled audiences in China, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangkok.
