Annyeong Station, is a platform in our online infotainment section, for conversation, interaction and exchange. With a focus on Korean popular culture, this online space will periodically present K-lounge curated interactions with industry specialists and influencers.
In the second episode of Season 5 of the K-lounge section on Annyeong Station we present an engaging conversation that focuses on the mass appeal of all things Hallyu, its vibrancy and inclusivity as a genre. Our guest, J Stellar —celebrated as the first Indian soloist in K-pop, is a dynamic singer and a composer. As an independent artist, J Stellar is rooted in the desire to create music that empowers, heals and allows people to feel seen, heard and valued. In a conversation moderated by our host Puja Talwar, J Stellar will share insights about her original compositions and explore the global reach of K-dramas and Hallyu - the Korean Wave.
Marking a major milestone in her artistic journey, her debut EP, a project that combines Indian classical instruments and multiple languages, offering a sound that is both groundbreaking and deeply personal will launch globally on 24th October 2025. The worldwide release coincides with her first live performance in India, at Hallyu @ IIT Madras , supported by InKo Centre.

J Stellar
J Stellar an artist from Mumbai, India, is making history as the first Indian soloist in K-Pop. Blending the vibrant cultures of India and Korea, she creates music that inspires, energizes, and connects with listeners.
Her debut track “Pop OFF” is a bold introduction, fusing unique vocals with hip-hop textures for a fresh take on the genre. J Stellar continues to grow as an independent artist with a vision of “creating a space to release it all when the music hits 0:00.”

Puja Talwar is the Senior Journalist & Editor with over 30 years experience in Broadcast Journalism. Puja is a Writer, Show Host and Moderator.
